Hi Guys, am waiting to collect a '55 plate W169.
Compared to my old Citroen the sound system sounds great.
I see that it either has the normal 6 speakers but has an option of 10.
Firstly, is it worthwhile, secondly what other options do I have?

Its pretty hard to add the original extra speakers because wiring looms are hard to come by. If you PM 'alfie' on this forum I think he has the appropriate subwoofer that can be put in the spare wheel on the car ...

There were 2 upgrades for the speaker system
a) the extra bass speaker above (and I think a centre speaker)
b) the full Harmon Kardon sound system which is $$$$

The best upgrade (much better sound and nicer unit with satnav) is to replace the Audio-20 head unit by the COMAND unit, which will also give you sat nav and a much nicer colour screen. If you go with the latest version you will also get bluetooth phone system. Again PM alfie if you want this fitted, our you can ask him to supply a unit and a fitting kit, or you can buy a used unit (from eBay but be careful) and a fitting kit from Comand Online Ltd
