Default Clone and upgrade NTG2.5 HDD

Hi, I've read that many have been able to clone and upgrade their 40GB HDD on the Comand NTG2.5 Any specific software to use to clone? I am thinking of using Norton Ghost to clone, would this work? I would take out the HDD and plug it in to a portable USB harddisk case and use Norton Ghost software to clone an image, and then copy that image to a larger capacity harddisk.

Let me know if anyone here has had experience doing this.

When you clone the drive of an embedded system you also clone the partition size. You need to backup and restore the files and then also expand the partition.

It would be easily done in LINUX and MAC-OS but not in Windows.

In this instance the solution is entirely in the operating system. Do you then reformat the HDD using the engineering mode ?

The simple answer is that your describe method will only give you a 40GB usage no matter how large the HDD is. You need additional steps.

You may want to also try the ACRONIS brand as that is also free trial.
