Hi all,
I need some help here, I had retrofitted a NGT2.5 HU to a MY2005 E55 which has the electric adjustable steering column. From what I seen on other forums it seem the NGT2.5 has already got the liguatronic build-in. Is it just a matter of retrofit the steering column with the VCS switch and the system will automatically recognise the VCS? Do anyone have the full parts list to this retrofit? |

You need
a) steering column cowl with hole for VCS switch b) trim piece to cover the back of the whole c) VCS lever d) VCS switch (which includes cruse control switch) There are a number of different versions of all of those parts (even the lever) dependant on the chassis number of the car and the options fitted to it and the colour of the plastic bits in your car, and fitting it (first time) is difficult and can result in damage to the very expensive contact spiral. Yes, after it is fitted it just works. Richard |
