Thread: Telephone pre wired kit not installed in arm rest

Hi I have just bought a 2008 C180 sports coupe 1.8 manual and have tried to connect my blackberry.
I get a medssage "no phone", I have looked in the arm rest and nothing is installed.
I wanted to use the steering wheel functions and the telephone pad on the dash, is there any way I can do this.

This is my first MB and I am very new to it all so any help is very appreciated.

Unless your car was built in very very late 2008 then it will not have the phone functions unless the car was ordered with them from the factory.

The C Coupe cars built very late 2008 have stereos with bluetooth phone built in - those units have the phone pickup / put-down keys on the Stereo coloured green / red (rather than white).

The phone functions can be retrofitted to older cars, talk to Alfie (PM him) he is one of the gurus on the forum

It is a 57 plate registered february 2008, I will try Alfie and fingers crossed
