Thread: w164 command pinout (MCSII)

hello.
does any1 have the pinouts for the 2006 ml500 (US>MCSII) w/ H/K
all i really need is the 12V, ground, 12V ACC, and reverse signal.

Also, where would the amplifier be located on this model?

There is only 12V and ground. Other signals come via the CAN bus network, so there is also CANbus connecions and an antenna power output, and a fibre optic wakeup signal on the normal wiring.

Brown is the ground and the red one is the +12volts

As you have HK the speakers are connected to HK amplifer so you wont have the top 8 way 'mustard' colour section in the connector.

[ps, i dont know where the amplifier is, someone else I hope will answer that, I suspect its under the rear seat bench, or possibly theres a big space very hard to access under the left hand seat, but you have to take the seat and carpet out and then a plastic panel to get at it]
