Thread: ML350 Phone Upgrade Problem

Help needed – I have a 2004 ML350, W163 with a UHI Mobile phone system and no steering wheel controls and no instrument cluster display. No Command System - radio is an Audio 10 CD.
I am now looking to upgrade my Nokia 6230i to a Nokia E51 or E71.
I have been told by MB that cradles are not available and the new bluetooth updgrade is not compatible with my phone install.
I have tried the Viseeo MB-2 module, but cannot answer any incomming calls, terminate calls, make calls etc unless I am holding the phone and do everything via the phone.
Your recommendations on how I can address would be appreciated. FYI - my location is Sydney Australia.

The MB-2 is the correct system for the technology in the car, but as you notice the Audio-10 has no phone control buttons.

I would put a COMAND 2.0 in, then you have phone buttons and keypad on the COMAND, and access to phonebook etc.

Talk to benzmodz here, he too is in Sydney Australia, and i'm sure will supply and fit.
