hi i have a 2002 c32 amg fitted with the single din becker be6096 nav and bose i want to fit the bosch 2.0 double din i took the bosch system out of an 01 c class but when fitting i had a problem 1 connector was different the unit powered up but no sound i am gathering its because my car has bose and the donor didnt is there a harness i need to get many thanks for your help

which will adapt the existing wiring loom, including the wakeup system for the BOSE amplifer if it is the digital kind

how can i tell if it is digital or analogue i know there is an amplifier in the boot on the drivers side behind the carpet

If there was a fibre connection on the old system, and you do not have phone or CDC then you do have digital BOSE.
Another way to tell is if there are no speaker wires in the B plug then its digital BOSE ..

I can't remember what model year it was introduced on W203 (or maybee it was always digital)

THe reason why there is no sound is because the wakeup signal is not connected due to the different shaped connectors.

The old radio uses C connector and the GPS uses C1 + C2 connectors.

The W203 was always digital optical BOSE.

the old connector had 2 extra pin slots were as the nav has c1 c2 no phone but got cdc in govebox is there an easy fix to this or is the harness adapter what i need thanks
