I am yet another newcomer to this forum and wondering if you may be able to advise..

I am an Australian expat working in Japan and own a 2004 W220 S350. The car has very low mileage and is in excellent condition. I am likely to return to Oz in a year's time and would like to bring this car home with me for use these. My question is whether this Japanese COMAND system can be converted for use in Australia.

I have all the wiring harness for that year model in stock and also the head unit. When the time comes it will be possible to install the modifications and effectively make the car Australian.

It involves a fair amount of labour.
