Thread: NTG2.5 quick test

Is it safe to test a NTG2.5 bought from Ebay on a workbench by just connecting the power supply to the unit before swapping it for the Comand NTG2
Or will it loose its coding or maybe it will lock

Yes, perfectly safe - same power wiring as NTG2.

(but note, not the same wiring as the NTG1 Audio-20 in a E/CLS)

I did a test and it is working So far
I can not wait to install it , maybe tomorrow if it does not rain.

Its configured for Harmon Karden so is trying to send it's sound to the amplifier on the fibre optic ring - which of course is not there.

It needs reconfiguring with Star Diagnosis by someone with 'developer' mode ..
