    Blackberry 9000

A couple of things that anyone considering a marriage with viseeo should know. The blackberry 9000 allows you to restrict address book upload to a filtered set of addresses to the viseeo. As comand only allows a 100 address book entries this is the only way of stopping comand from trying to upload the whole address book. The way to approach this is to create a sub set in your address book (either in outlook or in your blackberry) called 'Car'. Then set your blackberry bluetooth to only upload the 'car' subset when uploading the address book.

Second point with Blackberry 9000 is that it has a bluetooth echo control setting (especially useful if you have to go and buy the MB unit) but you have to set it to on rather than automatic.

Hope this helps someone else. Andy

Andy, thanks for all that useful info. The address book size varies by car and COMAND system, and phone system.

100 is the worst case (in cars with older CD based COMAND, and with UHI (exchangeable cradle). You get about 250 with the MBU-1000 on the older CD based systems with the fixed Nokia 6x10 cradle, and loads more on the newer cars..

Interesting, I have the same technology in my car (MB-2 and 04 D2B COMAND) without issue, so I suspect this is an issue with that plus the blackberry.

There has been a new Bluetooth software release for the MB-2 recently, it could be worth trying ...
