Default Uhi [and other options on new E class]

while deciding to buy a new e coupe 250 cdi i have been ofered by the seller t have my new car including either a audio 50 aps with no extra price, or a command aps, with rear camera and a UHI mobile phone preinstallation all for 1800.
As the e coupe 250 has a included bluetooth, what good could do me, to have the UHI preinstallation? or it is just the possibility of charging the phone.
Thanks a lot.

UHI ('comfort phone') gives the possibility of cradles that charge the phone AND use the car's external aerial (which is good where phone coverage is patchy). It is nice, but having the COMAND system rather than the Audio-50-APS would be reason I add it. The comfort phone is *relatively* easy to retrofit (under 300 euros of parts) on W204-C/W212-E/W207-Ecoupe.

Personally I think COMAND will make it easier to sell the car when you sell it, and certainly in the UK its one of the options that either gets a good premium or (in the case of ML) you must have it to sell the vehicle. Its also hard to retrofit on the W204/W212/W207.

You should consider Media Interface aswell (the properly integrated iPod system) which in UK is bundled with the CD/DVD changed in the Audio-50/COMAND system)
