    Default Comand 2.0 and Parrot

I am about to retrofit my 2002 ML W163 with a Comand with an Aux input.
Since the W163 ML don't have any steering wheel buttons etc, I don't find the full integration of the bluetooth adapters etc worth the money.
I just want to install a bluetooth handsfree kit like a Parrot system that work through the car speakers.
What do I need in addition to the Parrot system in order to work through the comand system, and also what Parrot system will be good for the W163 comand system?
At present I am using a
Samsung L760 phone that has bluetooth.

Thanks again for a wonderful website with all the good info!!

Just get a generic ISO speaker relay so it routes the front speakers to the Parrot when a call comes in .. any car hifi shop should be able to supply

(This assumes you do not have BOSE sound system)

Assuming your car has digital BOSE (i.e post 2002 facelift with indicators in the mirror) then you can not use a speaker relay, so its proper kit or an extra speaker). This is because the amp connects to the fibre optic network and you dont have speaker wires on the ISO plug in the back of the COMAND.

If its pre 02 facelift, I suspect the speaker relay option will work - but i'm not 100% sure how it will sound but its only voice so shouldnt be bad. pre 02 has analogue bose which the amp connects to the speaker wires on the ISO plug.
