Thread: e320 W210 COMAND retrofit

Hi!
I have e320 `01. What I like to know is if it`s posible to install navigation unit from `01 or`02 ML 430. My car does not have navgation now-it`s regular with standard radio. Thanks a milion!!!

The parts list is as follows;

- Radio frame
- Wood panel
- Antenna
- Some wire for the speed signal
- 6 MQS pins
- C1 connector
- C2 connector

- Changes to the diagnostic connector (pin 34)

- Navigation unit.
- Navigation map
- iPOD cabled (AUX) *optional

So long as you can obtain a navigation that is software configurable (some do and some dont) then you may use a W163 model.

You will also find that some W208 models can be configured specially.

Ok, in general we recommend to put the correct unit in for your car if possible, which will start with part number A210 xxx xx xx on a W210 - but W163 ML unit will go into most things.
