Thread: upgrade to sonyericsson on comand

Hi anybody know if I can use my Sonyericsson mobile in the comand Satnav in my 2002 "51" E320 cdi estate, if I make mistakes, sorry, I'm new,

Does your car have the integrated mobile phone system (for Nokia 6210 / 6310 ) ?

Hi, it has a Nokia cradle fitted (no phone) under the centre arm rest, the car is a 2002 "51" E320 cdi estate, it has a comand sat nav. hope this helps you,

You need to add one of these devices. It plugs into the Nokia cradle, car thinks it has a 6310i, and it bluetooths to your phone. Phonebook transfer can be a bit hit and miss on the Sony phones, but the new ones seem OK

Hi do's the comand have Bluetooth, what do I need (Nokia phone ! ) to test the phone system with your suggestion, I do not have any satnav cd's only 1 UK, will this cause the phone not to connect to the satnav !

Hi can I update to a DVD on the comand instead of the 6 disk's at the same time,

a) The simpler Nokia's work best in my opinion - such as the 6500. The E and N series and those with GPS or very high res cameras will require you to send the contacts manually.
b) doesn't matter that the CD is not in there
c) No, its CD based, and theres 1 CD per country (UK/IRL on 1 disk) this is the disk U need

(I've assumed you have the colour Mercedes COMAND navigation system and that the E320 is the last shape E series given the date and the fact its an estate)

hi again, E320 cdi, the old shape, (best) has colour screen,cd in Satnav, UK only, but I cannot access this, do I need to get an Ireland cd ! before it work's,

The disk I mentioned above includes Ireland maps, and UK (including northern ireland) all on 1 disk, and a 2nd disk with the major roads of western europe
