Default Audio Antenna Help Urgently Needed! [NTG2.5 retrofit]

I am in the middle of upgrading the standard Audio 20 unit in my wifes A169 A-Class to a later version, bluetooth enabled MF2830 unit.

Everything is working perfectly except that I am unable to receive any radio stations.

I have ascertained that this is because the antenna amp is not receiving any power due to the the different pin configuarions on the quadlock and in the installation kit I am using, there is a loose 12v live feed wire coming from the microphone connector labelled "antenna amplifier" that obviously needs to go somewhere - but I don't know where

I have found one piece of information that indicates it needs to connect to Pin 13 of the original quadlock but there is already a cable in Pin 13, and "piggybacking" the 12v feed wire into this connection makes no difference.

For information, the original unit had a single black Fakra connector for the antenna, and the new one has the double white Fakra connector. I have a proper dual to single adaptor in place for this.

I firmly believe that I am simply needing to get this 12v power feed to the antenna amp somehow, but have no idea how to achieve this and any help would be greatly appreciated before the wife kills me for dismantling her car and leaving her with no radio !

    Default Nightmare Over... :)

This problem can be considered "solved".

As it turns out, the dual to single FM Fakra adapter I have been supplied was faulty... I should have checked it out with an AVO earlier - could have saved myself a few wasted hours!

You do also need to connect the antenna amp power lead, I tend to disconnect the wire going into that pin on the car's loom and connect it to the new wire from the NTG2.5 head unit, as don't want to feed power back into an unknown connection on the NTG2.5
