Thread: 2003 2.0 update procedure [W220 S class]

im trying to update my 2003 s600 2.0 command, i have the 211589142200 disc. i need to know the procedure to install the update. thank you in advance.

Step 1: Press eject on headunit

Step 2: Remove CD from CD player

Step 3: Insert new CD.

wow,thanks for the quick reply but that does not work. the instructions on the cd say to hold down 1,3 and 8 at the same time, that also does not work.

That is because 2003 S class has COMAND 2.0 DX Wide screen (also known as Comand 2.0 MOPF)

The disk you have is for the newer COMAND APS in an E or CLS class (USA version).

There is no firmware update for 2003 S class COMAND 2.0 DX ... (apart from the navigation parts, which come on the map disk)
