Default Making a custom Comand retrofit loom: [W203 comand 2.0]

I’d like to complete this retrofit on my 2002 C230k to replace the Audio 30 with a 2004 Comand 2.0 US model Head Unit I would like to make a custom Loom adapter.

I’ve ordered the Mercedes retrofit loom for my car to use for parts, but one part the dealer said was an invalid number was the C connector (male)
A0165453626 which I would use to plug into the C connector on the Car’s installed loom.

I’m assuming that this is a non US part number so if anyone would know the correct part number for the US market or if there is a standard connector that can be purchased from an electronics parts store I would be most appreciative for any information as I would much rather build an adapter loom than clip off the old C connector and splice the wires.

One other issue I’d like to clear up as I’ve seen different answers is the speed wire… I have the Bose upgrade in the car and I’ve seen that the wire isn’t necessary if the car has the Bose upgrade true or not true?

Thanks for any help as I should have all the parts in the next few days.

What is the part number of the adapter you have been sold ? Where did it come from ?

Usually people install the ML W163 adapter solution. Fast and simple.

    Red face MB Dealer part:

The part number is a revised number for the OEM Mercedes w203 Comand harness A203540090998 $55.00 the number I gave the dealer was A2035400909

From what I can tell it is the replacement harness for my Audio 30 harness.

I was not aware of the w163 adapter, would you have a US market part number for that part? I guess I should have first asked it that is an OEM MB part

Most of what I've learned to do the retrofit came from Retrofitiing COMAND to Mercedes Benz Vehicles which seems to be referenced on many forums.

Thanks for taking the time to help...
