Thread: ML Comand MCS [saying WAIT]

my Comand System shows "WAIT" how to reset the system and start with sec, code again?

A 163 820 05 79, MCS, NV4BN11A

Leave it on. After a while (maybe some hours) it will stop telling you to wait and you can try code again

The waiting time increases each time you get the code wrong

Is it necessary to keep the car in running or "on" position?

Any details how long it can take, first it was back after 30min., I received the wrong code again.
Now I should have the right one!!

We don't have mcs / mcs2 here in europe, but I would expect 1 or 4 hours, and I think you can leave ignition off, but check it didn't turn itself off after 20mins
