    Question Video In Motion (VIM) Module [and reversing camera]

    This question is Richard or anyone that knows the answer:

    On our US 2009 E 350 wagon (Comand NTG2.5) if we get the dealer to add option 218 to the car's datacard and the COMAND unit 'SCN' coded will we still need a VIM module if we only want to have a backup camera installed? No video in motion for DVD's or TV because it is a stupid idea!

    The VIM option has nothing to do with the reversing camera. It will work of its own accord.
