Thread: E Class Pod integration - no sound [W211 NTG1]

I have just fitted a Mercedes ipod integration kit to my e-class with comand.

Having completed installation the ipod charges, I can see tracks displayed and can navigate using the steering wheel controls - however I cannot get any sound whatsoever. I have checked wiring, including the trunk connections which were tricky - where have I gone wrong?

I would imagine that when you re-assembled, you plugged in the old AUX lead instead of the new one. Its the 3 pin lead that goes into the back of the COMAND head unit.

The fact that you have track name (etc) working means that you did the CANbus wires in the boot and under the glovebox correctly !
