Thread: Command Sat nav for C180 CGI Exec [5/7 digit postcode]

I purchased new Oct 2010. The post code search only goes to 5 digits. Mercedes tell me I have the latest disc but software uis not available to upgrade to 7 digit post code search. I find this unbelievable. Does anyone know if in fact the software is available to upgrade.

There are some confusing rumours about this.

I have assumed you have COMAND (i.e full colour satnav with the electically opening display)

Certainly, European C class COMAND when first released did not support 7 digit post code.

However, I have heard that it may do now (sorry to be so imprecise) and I have never actually gone and checked.

I would go back to your dealer and ask them to apply the "11/2010 Telematics update" and ensure it has the latest map disk and see if that works.

If it doesn't work, then I suspect the rumour I heard is wrong.
