My father drives an old C class from 2001, with comand. For a while now CDs get stuck in the drive. It also doesn't read anything anymore. So I thought maybe it would be possible to change the cd-drive only, and not the whole Comand system. I read the article on "Comand 2.0 Servicing and Disassembly" and now I just need to know if it would be possible to change it, and if so, then where (and what) can I buy it?

Sorry for delay. Getting parts is pretty impossible. However Bosch will service these for you, so speak to a Bosch car radio service centre
