Hello friends, new at the forum.

I have a CLK 280 2009 with audio 20, the glovebox has a stock aux input. Live ein Mexico City, called to the dealer many times, and they told me several times, averytime that there is no any ipod interface available for this model, only for the 320.
All kits says CLK 2004-2008, any one mention 2009.
Is there any important change between 08 and 09 that generate incompatibility?

What can I do??? Is this true?

For the other side as a second option I am looking for a Dietz interface, Dietz 72310 + 72311 iPod Fiber Optic Interface for MERCEDES-BENZ.
Do yuo have any experience with Dietz interfaces?, the headquarter told me there is no any incompatibility, the seller at ebay told me if is 09 is not compatible.

Seems incredible a 09 MB you cant install an ipod interface!!!!

I will appreciate your help in order to know what to do.

It takes the standard 2008 CLK iPod interface, part number B6 782 4558

The dealer is confused because the CLK was 'end of lifed' then and didn't get the updates done to the other models for MY2009 (Hard Disk based COMAND).

I only have experience of the Mercedes interfaces (and Dension GW500)

My preference is to use genune Mercedes products ... even though in your case you only get control/display on the instrument cluster and steering wheel controls, once you are used to it you can select playlists, artists etc etc quite easily.
