Anyone any ideas or experienced a similar problem with Keyless Go. Mine is fitted to a year 2000 CL.
I can open the doors, boot and start the car with the Keyless Go. I can then stop the car and lock the car by using the button on the handle on the passenger side, but not the drivers side. I have the credit card style key, the batteries are all ok. Any suggestions. Would a fault code show up if the drivers button was faulty. What would the code be and would it have to be via a STAR system or would the procedure using the climate control screen show the fault code as it does for a few other things. Could it be anything else other than a broken button ? Thanks. |

It sounds like a broken button, or possibly door control unit although less likely.
Star Diagnosis can be used to test the button - which if its broken won't show up as an explicit fault, but can be tested. Nothing can be done via the climate control / comand (apart from interogating themselves) Richard |
