This might be a relatively easy question, but how do you access the engineering menu on a dvd based comand on a 2005 w209 clk? Thanks in advance for the help.

It doesn't do anything apart from show you some internal defaults.

There are two menus available.

If you press NAV then NAV again and this time hold down '5' aswell it will go into a very limited menu system.

The engineering mode can be accessed as follows;

Serv --> system -> Lang

Press phone hangup, keep it pressed and press the diagonal arrow key between the up arrow and left arrow, keep this pressed aswell, press the Audio button and hold them all for a few seconds.

Be careful what you do as it is may well be possible to render the system useless.

I ve read about the second method you suggested, however the navigation unit doesnt have the last button (position buttons). It uses a joystick sort of thing that moves up down right left and diagonally. If it helps at all its the unit with the red and green phone buttons
