Default CLK Bluetooth/CD Changer Issue

2005 CLK with Audio 20, factory CD Changer and Phone Pre-wiring.

I subsequently added the Bluetooth module (black one in armrest) which has been working fine with Nokia, Blackberry and lately iPhone.

Yesterday I disconnected the CD Changer to get it repaired. When I switch the radio on it took about 5 mins for the radio to give any sound, so I assumed it was 're-learning' set up or something since disconnecting CDC. Radio now fine.

However, I also noticed that the phone wasn't pairing. Again I thought I just needed to pair it. I've re-paired it and the phone says it's connected and the BT module has blue light on but Audio 20 shows 'NO PHONE' and no bars on display.

I've tried everything I can think of; powered off car & phone, disconnected BT module & re-connected, re-paired several times - but all with same result. It's almost as though the head unit is no longer recognising the Phone Pre- Wiring.

Is this somehow linked to the CDC and won't work until I re-install it?

Please help!!

Thanks. That would explain it. Do you know what type of connector I need and where I get them?

You need a MOST fibre joiner or a simple MOST fibre loop.
