i bought my SLK sport in May 2008 (it was the new new model).

• How can i know exactly what kind of comand i have on it?
• Do i need to upgrade firmware?
• What version of maps can i put on it?

of course it works but the maps are old!!!
I need to know what kind of maps i need and i read somewhere that probably i need to upgrade the firmware.
The problem is that i really don't know what kind of comand i have (It has harddisk and bluetooth)

Yes, it has hard disk and Bluetooth

And which country are you in ?

(so we can point you at the right map disk set)

It is pretty likely to work without a s/w upgrade in your car, as I suspect one has been done at a service, if not the dealer will need to update the firmware on your COMAND which should be done free of charge
