V9 disk and NTG1 Birds eye view
Birds eye does not work on W211/W219 E and CLS classes.
It does work on the R230 SL once the latest software upgrade has been applied to the head unit.
I have not tested to see if it works on W220 S, W215 CL or R171 SLK vehicles.
I suspect not on the W220/W215 because they were replaced by the W221/W216 before the software updated for the R230 that enabled it was released.
Note also, that there is a replacement part number been issued for the replacement for V9.0 for NTG1 (E/CLS/SLK/old-S/old-CL) a few weeks ago, so I'd expect the next version to appear shortly - but MB will never tell anyone exactly when the replacement will arrive.
People like comandonline.co.uk have stopped selling V9 disks in anticipation.
