yes replaced the batteries stil no luck ive managed to find a local guy who used to work for mercedes for 10years he has the star testing equipment i gave him a call and hes goig to do a diagnostic check just to make sure the gear stick start is being recognized ile keep you posted and let you know how i get on thanks againfor all your help kind regards scott
