I did find that my car (08 CLK350 Coupe) was prewired. I bought the MHI for the trunk, the contact plate for the center console and the bluetooth puck and installed it all myself. I had to change some of the fiber optics but it was all plug and play.

It all works like a charm and I now have SAT, NAV, Mbrace, CD, CD changer, ipod dock and telephone that work exactly like MB designed them. It even downloads my contacts from my BB Storm 2 to the Comand system.

Thanks for helping this newbie. This is my 5th MB but the first one since an 05 CLK320 Cabriolet. I also had: 86 420SEL, 2001 SLK320 and a 02 C240.
