As Benzmodz says, do it from the proper (non developer mode) menus, too easy to destroy the unit, or even get it locked out requiring a PIN code...

However, the latest version of star seems to expect you to be online (i.e have online password, i.e proper star user) - but I don't think earlier ones did, so you may have to go back a bit. But then I don't know if the earlier version will accept the latest firmware disk.
