There will be nothing installed .. UHI controller (if factory fit) is in the compartment under the boot floor (deep into the boot, by the back seat). Also, with factory fit the top of the armrest splits in two (so the retrofit centre console parts are not a perfect fit on the W211 - but the finish is good, not quite same as factory build unless you get a new armrest top.
VAT &
Comand Online Ltd - If you are outside Europe, just sign in and register it will know not to charge VAT. If you are inside Europe and outside UK then register, email them with your VAT number which they will check and then set the account to VAT free having checked the addresses against the European VAT checking service. But the VAT rules changed recently to make it easy to reclaim the VAT (if in Europe) when buying from other countries.
