Is there a specific setting which has worked for you? I have a 160GB Ipod Classic with all songs set to POP setting as I heard this was best - obviously not!

Thanks

You can try removing the line amp and adjusting the volume limit on the ipod controller using the 'down arrow' phone hangup key sequence. This is most likely already at maximum. The other thing to make sure of is that the ipod equalisation is turned off. This is the setting that makes all tracks the same volume. Sadly its the volume of the quietest one
